Hate me for all the wrongs I’ve committed,
Love me for my soul and the things I’ve done,
For you.
Look at me with that heart of yours,
See me as I see you,
Such beauty.
Your eyes, as dark as shadows late at night,
Your hair, a blend of winter and sun,
Heavenly sight.
A tale untold, a heart to behold,
You are mine as I am yours,
To hold.
A weapon is only as great as its weakness,
You wield it with grace, even if fate decides your path,
You move with it, forever reaching beyond your abilities,
And yet you do the impossible if only for a few moments.
I move through life wishing for another,
A soulmate to love and cherish for eternity,
You are but a distant memory, a shadow of the past,
Remains of a life lived before this time,
You were my hope and my destruction,
As always I fell for a fantasy that was never meant to be,
And forgotten as time went by,
You became a star in the sky amongst all others a light in the distance.
Until you fell with the grace you believed in forever
A wasteland called upon by many and harbored by few,
We walk among the crowded hillside filled with life,
An ever present soul residing within the infested waters,
They call themselves the wicked and their evil knows no bounds,
They who take refuge within the waters lie amok upon the sand,
The wicked shall rise and man will fall with the growing tide.
Long ago man was weak, weapons unreliable in their misuse,
Work was valued but ever taxing on the body and spirit,
The air, a fresh breath filled the skies with ever present light,
In sweet solitude all was quiet and time belonged to no one,
And in all lives lost and wars defeated we stood firm
Hello world for I know not what to do without you,
You are the air I breathe and the sun I long to bathe in,
You are the essence of truth for it shines in your eyes,
You are the dream I long to never wake from,
You are the life I wish for with every agonizing moment,
You are the world in which the clouds would never part,
You are the ties that bind us together as one for all time,
Never moving, always standing,
Find me in the moonlight.
For the world to know the value of life,
You must first be wise to the wicked,
Pleasant to those who are loved,
Kind to the poor and less fortunate,
Subdued to the monstrous ideals.
We all hold an essence binding to the light,
To which embraces the spirit of life,
To become a power to behold of truth,
To see with eyes wide open of a destiny,
To know the path fate has set forth.
It is with courage and bravery that we fight,
In search of life’s impossible choices,
In a world fraught with dangers and enticement,
In a time where black becomes white,
In a day with the sun so bright we win.
Make life to the eyes of the beholder.
It would so seem as time goes by,
The summer breeze turns to golden leaves,
Of reds and yellows, a pleasant sight to behold.
It reminds me of a time short lived,
Or so it always ends as it begins,
A wish for friendship, love, desire, longing,
With all of my breath, heart, and wisdom,
It is nothing without you.
Have I found you waiting in the wind?
Are you within my grasp to hold so close?
It would seem I have yet to quell old thoughts,
The past is a fickle thing that never lets go.
I wish to forget, but within a moment I see it all again.
A prayer of faith has been unanswered,
Yet I cling to hope so deep.
What’s in a heart if not d
A new day has dawned,
Change is embraced,
For along comes the night,
And so begins the darkness of light.
A treasured moment remains within the mind,
The time so precious, memories are but a dream,
Whispering to the heart of lost passion and impression,
To see the world as bleak as it is and was so long ago,
Only now I see the despair in the eyes of the many,
And the few are left to their own devices to exist,
In an immortal realm where greed and power rule.
Innocence is bliss, for it sorely out numbers the guilty,
Or so it would seem that ignorance is a plague,
Well respected in it’s virtue is utterly repugnant,
To the wisest of soul
A wolf howls at the moon with cunning bravery,
A sound that resonates within the forest,
As do the Mothers’ creatures of the night,
All wait for the blessed silence sure to come.
A path overgrown with shrubs and weeds,
Shall lead the way to a sight unimaginable in it’s splendor,
For the trees partake of a solitude to slumber,
To view a rose of beauty among the sea of green.
In this place where life stands still and the night is long,
A full moon aligns the heavenly spirit for a traveler,
Once of strength and courage shall break free,
Of the bonds that tie the rose to the space below.
Arise and be forgiven of the sins that haunt
Each day we wither in silence,
Never knowing if the end is near,
We walk the road more traveled,
To get to our destination, a fearsome plight,
Not unknown to the many, for few desire it.
Always seeking what is just out of reach,
We plan for tomorrow and lead with today,
A new world is out there for all to see,
But many ask, “When can I get more?”
And again we find ourselves craving the inevitable.
Fasting becomes the new norm,
Lunch exists for dinner to be served,
Meals are meaningless, even if they are set,
In their ways we feel work and pleasure unknown,
Never go together as so it would seem.
Yet it goes on and on and on and
The world is strange,
We are the strange ones,
We walk a path of loneliness,
A desperate attempt of glory,
Ever shadowed by deceit.
And we will forever face our battles,
See the truth in each others’ eyes
The hope that guides us, a fading light,
In the distance a heavenly sight.
Once what was shall now be again.
A timeless presence, a faceless force,
For there lies hope where none shall pass,
A day has gone and all is quiet,
Furthermore we seek to try it,
We are the strangers in this most strange land.
And we wish upon a star, one bright starry night,
Here our dreams finally take flight.

this is a thing
a thing we shall share
in times of peace
and times of war
we shall have this
this one thing
that binds us together
as strong as any ox
as unmovable
as any mountain
this thing called
simply
love.
In this barren wasteland
A naked body on the ground
Under the red sun
It is scorched and hurting
In this world of silence
Poisons rule the atmosphere
In this thorny prison
Animals have died insane
There is but the willows
With fingers growing fear
With their faces haunted
With roots never satiated
Like a snake deformed
The body slowly crawls
Like a nightmare I persist
In its isolated mind
In this land of no control
It roams without a purpose
It feasts on its own flesh
It stimulates my nerves
Perceiving nothing
In a bed do they lie.
Secuired in each others arms.
No light, nor sound, nor sense of time
Extracts them from their Eden
They sleep...
Recovering from a night of ecstacy.
No facade to hide their love.
No perfectionistic world to weaken their faith.
In blissful slumber they remain.
Forever in a peaceful lovers limbo.
Connected now by heart and mind...
Even after they awake.

Looking Into Your Eyes
It's like finding a connection into my own heart,
To gaze into the beautiful of something that could one day feel terrible,
Trust in that you won't look away,
At least not before your heart slips from mine.
And I wish for it to never slip from mine,
Because the only music I long to hear are your whispers in my ears,
The only promises of happiness I need,
And perhaps a little more taste of your soft soft lips.
I love you, incredibly,
And hope you feel the same indefinitely,
Because I feel I want you so much you could not possibly imagine,
And love you in a way where no part of my heart could be left hidden.
It will be easy to forget you...
I just can't look to the sky
or even remember the sea...
I'll just have to stop dreaming
and learn how to be alone...
I know I'll forget you..
I just can't remember your smile..
your beautiful eyes,
your sweet mouth...
I can do it,
I know I can...
I just can't look to anything,
I just can't remember,
I just can't live...
or love...
I'll forget how important you are on my life...
I'll just have to forget myself...
My world dissolves into autumn,
the shade and the fire draped about my throat
like so many jewels.
I met the mist as an old lover,
let the dew paint my lips
with the scent of harvest.
In a white memory, you are still walking away,
down that same road.
Your hair was shining like the fall.
Your shape in the fog beckons;
ghost or vision, I care not.
I lose myself.
I used to call you beautiful
You never would believe me
I used to think I'd lose you
You said you’d never leave me
I never could believe that I'd found someone like you
Carved by every angel that Heaven ever knew
I wouldn’t have imagined that you’d want me
Least of all believe that you and I were meant to be
It was long ago and far away
But it still feels like yesterday
My hand in yours, your hand in mine
From now until the end of time
So long ago but still so near
Because I can still feel you here
Your voice still echoes in my mind
From now until the end of time
You told me that you loved me and forever would be ours

Inspiration has finally hit for more stuff and I have been writing up a storm. More stuff to come soon!!!
A lot of what I write comes from the heart and things that I see, hear, and feel.
Here are a few teaser ideas that will give a big hint to the poems I will be writing or have already written:
Forgiveness, Torches (inspired by the song by Daughtry), and a bit of hope
Can't wait to share my creations :)
At last! I can write something other than reflections of how well lessons went while student teaching. Today I finally graduated college after four long years of waiting to be a teacher. Now I can focus on Christmas and relaxation for a little while anyway. I still have to pass a test before I will be certified to teach so I'm still waiting for that. Otherwise, I'm glad the time went fast, but I'm so sad that I had to say goodbye to my students this past week. I had such a fun time teaching and showing students new math skills. It's my passion that I hope will be fulfilled. Soon I will have what I have always wanted.
So now that I hav
So its been awhile. Too much is going on in my life that sometimes I can't keep up. It's been an emotional summer to say the least. I only have a week left before I start my new journey as a student teacher for the fall semester to finish up college. I have been writing throughout the summer but I haven't been able to post anything. I plan on putting some stuff up before the week is up. Good day and good news.
